Yemeni students in Pakistan demand Hadi government for their financial dues
The Students Union of Yemen in Pakistan on Friday called on the government of Hadi to pay the students ’full financial dues, with all overdue financial dues.
The Union stressed – in a statement – the necessity of achieving a fundamental solution to transfer financial dues on a regular basis and disbursing the overdue amounts of Yemeni students in Pakistan who suffer from difficult living conditions in light of the deliberate disregard by the Hadi government and its Ministry of Education.
The statement accused the government of “Hadi” of deliberately delaying the payment of student dues in Pakistan in light of the additional risks they face as a result of the Corona pandemic.
The statement called for an urgent disbursement of the Yemeni students’ dues abroad as the situation does not bear the delay, demanding the approval of tuition fees within the financial dues similar to the rest of the scholarship countries because the university system has changed in Pakistan and university fees are no longer symbolic fees as they were in the past.
The statement urged the necessity of adopting a year to prepare the language for new students arriving in the country of study, and approving the dues of new students coming through granting cultural exchange.
The Union called for the necessity of not counting the quarantine period from the scholarship period for students.
