Bodies of 14 people found in Mexico
The government of the Mexican state of Zacatecas announced that it had found 14 people on Friday, in light of the continuing escalation of violence in the country.
According to “Reuters” state officials said in a statement that they are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the killing. The bodies were found in Fresnello, one of the largest cities in the central state of Mexico.
Local media reported that the bodies were placed in roadside covers.
Despite the decline in the number of crimes in Mexico in light of the isolation measures imposed to curb the spread of the Corona virus, the murders rose to record levels.
The Mexico City police chief was shot and killed two of his guards in an assassination attempt on Friday in which he accused the gang of the new generation in the state of Jalisco, one of the country’s largest drug cartels.
