Yemen is witnessing largest humanitarian crisis in world: UN

The United Nations said on Saturday that “Yemen is experiencing the largest humanitarian crisis in the world.”

The UN organization explained, in a tweet on Twitter, that approximately 80 per cent of the population in Yemen is in need for humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children.

“Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for children,” the organization added.
