Tawoos: Donors’ Conference Organized by UN in Saudi Arabia, an Attempt to Polish Criminals

Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, confirmed, on Monday, that the United Nations Donors’ Conference organized in Saudi Arabia is an attempt to polish the image of the Saudi criminal.

“If the donors’ conference is to be held in the land of the country leading the aggression against Yemen, how can we expect positive outcomes from it towards Yemen!?,” Tawoos asked in a statement to Almasirah TV, adding “How will the Saudi regime provide assistance to Yemen, if it is killing the Yemeni People?”

He explained that the United Nations offers numbers and what reaches to the Yemeni People is very little, pointing out that the United Nations wants to link the issue of financing Yemen’s aid with the announcement of increasing cases of Corona.

Tawoos pointed out that the United Nations organizations did not provide anything to the occupied areas of the south, although they announce a higher toll for Coronavirus casese continued by saying that “the recipient of the funds that will be provided at the donors’ conference is not the Yemeni People, and what reaches our people is only crumbs,” explaining that the aid provided to Yemen from the countries participating in the aggression is of a political nature and not of a humanitarian nature.
