Redeployment Commission Holds US-Saudi aggression, UN Responsible for Stockholm Agreement Deterioration
The Redeployment Commission in Hodeidah, this evening, blamed the US-Saudi forces and the United Nations for the deterioration of the Stockholm agreement. Major General Muhammad al-Qadri, a member of the Redeployment Committee, explained that US-Saudi mercenaries were directed to cut the food supply line for the liaison officers of the Army and Popular Committees in the City Max watch post with heavy fire coverage in an attempt to escalate.
“We put the full responsibility on the countries involved in the aggression, against Yemen, for the violations and the safety of the liaison officers stationed along the control points,” Maj. Gen. Al-Qadri said, adding that the United Nations mission should hold the responsibility and safety of the officers who abide by the previously agreed terms and resolutions.
Maj. Gen. Al-Qadiri also referred to one of the mercenaries’ liaison officers who was injured as a result of clashes between pro-US-Saudi forces, Tariq Afash militias, the Tuhami brigades and the giants brigades. These are the forces stationed near the City Max watch post east of the city of Hodeidah.
The chief of liaison officers in the National Team, Brigadier Yasser Al-Maghrabi, said that what happened today, Wednesday, in City Max watch post is a plot in which pro-aggression forces wanted to end the Stockholm agreement. “We confirm our commitment to the Stockholm Agreement despite direct and repeated attacks on watch posts, and the United Nations has not taken any action,” he added.
It is noteworthy that the chairman of the UN Redeployment Coordination Committee Abhijit Joha, has criticized the recent US-Saudi airstrikes on Al-Salif region. “These airstrikes impede the peace process and threaten the implementation of the Hodeidah Agreement,” General Joha said in a statement issued by his office.
