Al-Murtada: Jordan agreement is still suspended
The head of the National Prisoners Committee, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, said in a Twitter post on his Twitter that the that the agreement signed in Jordan recently regarding the file of the prisoners is still suspended .
Al-Murtada said the reason for the suspension of the agreement due to the failure to complete the of statements by the other party, especially the representative of the Islah party in Marib.
Al-Murtada added “I hope the United Nations will move to press for the implementation of this agreement, so that it does not meet the fate of the Sweden agreement.”
On the 16th of February, the two parties agreed to release 1,400 prisoners from the two parties, after a series of meetings sponsored by the UN envoy to Yemen.
