Ministry of Human Rights condemns The ongoing Violations and Siege on Al-Durahimi Directorate
The Ministry of Human Rights condemned the continuing violations and crimes of the American-Saudi aggression coalition against civilians in Al-Durahimi Directorate in Hodeidah Governorate.
In a statement, the Ministry stated that civilians in the besieged al-Durahimi Directorate are subjected for more than two years by the countries of the aggression to intentional and violent bombing.
The statement pointed out that the suffocating siege imposed by the forces of aggression deprived the people of the Directorate of the most basic elements of life and rights guaranteed by international and humanitarian laws.
The statement stressed that the continuation of the escalation and the ferocity of the bombing of the Directorate is a violation of the Stockholm Agreement, which was under the auspices of the United Nations.
The statement pointed out that to the shameful silence of the UN Secretary-General’s envoy Martin Griffiths and his lack of demand for his accountants who obstruct the agreement encouraged the countries of the aggression coalition to continue the escalation and genocide of the people of the Directorate.
