US-Saudi coalition Continues Detaining Oil Tankers off Hodeidah Port, Yemen

The spokesman for the Yemen Oil Company, Bahirdar, said that only tow of the oil derivatives ship were released on Saturday after being detained by the US-Saudi coalition forces at sea for 24 days.

Amin Al-Shabadi said that the coalition is still holding five oil ships at sea, and it is deliberate to detain ships of oil derivatives and prevent them from entering the port of Hodeidah in order to increase suffering of citizens.

The coalition had earlier released four oil ships carrying quantities of gasoline and diesel after the detention for about a month and a half, causing a severe fuel crisis in Sanaa capital and other provinces.
