MSF Denies Claims of US-Saudi Aggression Media of Closing Its Operations in Sana’a
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has denied coalition media allegations that the Sana’a Authority has closed its stores and prevented its planes from landing at Sana’a airport.
“MSF denies allegation of closure of operations in Yemen.” MSF said in a tweet on Saturday.
“We continue to provide life-saving medical care in 11 provinces across the country,” it added.
The organisation confirmed that its stores are fully operational and its planes and medical supplies are also allowed to enter the country in close collaboration with national health authorities.
Al-Arabiya, a Saudi television news channel, said on Saturday that Sana’a closed the stores of the MSF, in areas under its control and decided to refer them to the prosecution.
Al-Arabiya also claimed that Sana’a prevented an MSF plane carrying relief drugs from unloading its cargo at Sana’a airport.
