Taiz starts receiving deportees from Aden, southern cities
Local authority in Taiz province on Saturday evening started receiving citizens forcibly deported against backdrop of regional motives from Aden province and southern cities by the so-called security belt forces loyal to the UAE against backdrop of regional motives.
A number of citizens from Taiz and the rest of northern provinces arrived in al-Hoban area in the province after being forcibly deported from Aden.
The receiving committee, formed under directives of Taiz governor Major General Ameen al-Bahr, provided food, medicine and housing to the deportees and medical care for the patients.
Armed militias of the so-called security belt have been launching a large-scale campaign of arrests against people of the northern provinces in Aden city since Thursday, deporting hundreds of the northern provinces’ citizens, mostly from Taiz, from the southern city.
