Floods stop travelers’ movement in Abyan

The flow of torrential floods on Saturday caused the cutting of roads and stopped the movement of travelers across valleys and plains in al-Mahfad district of Abyan province in southern Yemen.

According to sources, the floods caused by the continuous falling of heavy rain since Friday evening until dawn on Saturday have led to the disruption of the traffic movement on the international road linking between the provinces of Shabwa and Abyan in Salabat Asran in al-Mahfad district.

Also, the floods also cut off the road linking between the districts of Modiya and al-Mahfad in a narrow area.
