Yemen’s oil company rallies against UN silence towards coalition crimes
Dozens of Yemeni oil company’s employees held on Friday a protest rally against the United Nations’ silence towards the crimes and arbitrary steps by the Saudi-led aggression coalition on the Yemeni people.
At the rally held in front of the UN headquarters, spokesman of the company Amin al-Shabati said that holding several ships carrying oil derivatives by the coalition would push the Yemeni people to a lot of the suffering and starvations.
Al-Shabati called on the UN to hold the full responsibilities and the shameful silence towards the coalition’s war crimes and its all-out sieges imposed on the Yemeni sea, land and air ports.
The participants affirmed that seizing the oil tankers being prevented by the aggression to access and enter Hodeidah port would exacerbate the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
The coalition is still holding two ships carrying tens of tons of gasoline and diesel.
