Palestinian killed by UAE intelligence in Marib
A Palestinian youth was killed on Friday evening in the UAE prison in Marib province.
Palestinian activists said that Salim Maarouf, a resident of the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis, was killed by torture by the UAE intelligence after he was abducted from Sayoun airport in Yemen.
The activists pointed out that “Maarouf” works for the Foundation of the International Jerusalem in Sana’a, the Imam of the mosque of the University of faith in Yemen, and has five children, noting that the UAE intelligence arrested him on suspicion of links with Hamas.
Maarouf’s family sources confirmed the death of their son Salim, explaining that he lived in Yemen 10 years ago, when he went to study there, before graduating from the Department of Sharia and works in an international institution to support Jerusalem and Palestine, without addressing other details.
