Strong explosion rocks Sayoun city of Hadramout

A violent explosion rocked the neighborhoods of Sayoun city in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Wednesday afternoon.

A security source said the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device planted near an electricity pole in Al-Ruwishan Round in Algiers Street downtown the city.

No casualties or material damage were caused by the explosion, he added.

This comes after an explosion of a roadside bomb on Tuesday near MTN Company on the Airport Road in Sayoun city.
