French FM calls on Saudi and UAE to end dirty war in Yemen

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Tuesday reiterated calls for Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to end their war in Yemen that he described as a “dirty war”.

Yemen is living in dire conditions as the war waged by the US-backed Saudi –led coalition continues through a military alliance since March 2015.

Yemen is witnessing the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, with 22 million people, 75 percent of the population, need some humanitarian assistance and protection, including 8.4 million people who do not know where to get their next meal.
