National Defense Council welcomes redeployment from Hodeidah ports
The National Defense Council on Sunday welcomed the unilateral redeployment of the army and popular committees from Hodeidah, Salif and Ras Issa ports of Hodeidah province.
In its meeting held in the capital Sanaa and chaired by President of the Supreme Political Council Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, the National Defense Council condemned the continuous obstruction of Stockholm Agreement on Hodeidah by Saudi-led aggression collation; despite the United Nations is keeping pace with the steps of the army and popular committees in the implementation of the agreement first phase.
The meeting reviewed developments in the military and security arena, praising the steadfastness of the army and popular committees forces on all fronts.
During the meeting, President al-Mashat stressed the importance of continuing in the development of military capabilities in various fields to defense Yemen and its sovereignty and independence.
