UAE threatens to use more bloody options to face Islah party campaign in Taiz

TAIZ, April 22 (YPA) – In an effort to rescue its militias, the UAE occupation threatened to use warplanes to bomb the Islah party militias inside the city of Taiz, if the party’s campaign against the Abu Abbas Group of the Emirati occupation in Taiz did not stop.

This is the first time that the UAE has officially announced and threatened to bomb Islah Party’s militants since the two sides entered into bloody confrontations nearly two years ago.

In conjunction with the UAE’s threats, the Abu al-Abbas group demanded in a statement issued on Saturday by the “Giants Brigades” of the southern provinces, who are in the West Coast, a quick intervention to help Abu Abbas from against the Islah party, a procedure that was never brought to the militias of “Abu Abbas “throughout the period of their struggle with the Islah party.

Local sources told the Yemen Press Agency that the military position of Abu al-Abbas militias inside the city of Taiz was very weak, as the group became a small part of the neighborhoods of the old city of Taiz, surrounded by the militias of the Reform Party of all sides.

The clashes erupted between the two sides after the assassination of the “Security and order officer” in Taiz police last Thursday on gunmen in the center of Taiz City.

The Islah party accuses Abu Abbas militias of carrying out these assassinations against recruits and officers of the Islah-controlled police of Taiz.

Last month, the city of Taiz has witnessed the most violent clashes between the two sides, in which the Abu Abbas Group were forced to retreat into narrow spaces inside the Old City.

According to a number of observers of the situation in coalition-controlled areas in Taiz province, the situation is a candidate for more bloody conflicts between the two parties, where the UAE occupation insists on adhering to Taiz, while the Islah Party wants to take control over all parts controlled by the coalition militants in Taiz, and to exclude any Other rival factions.

However, the recent measures that the UAE has brought through the threat, along with Abu Abbas’s request for South Salafists to intervene in the city of Taiz, indicate that Salafist groups have more options to confront the military Islah party campaign against the followers of the UAE occupation in Taiz.
