Yemen’s South, Under The Control Of UAE, Is Tense!

Since March 26, 2015, the Saudi-led coalition, including  the UAE, backed by the US, has been striking Yemen’s sovereignty and internal affairs, launching a military operation against the Yemeni army and people in flagrant violations of the international conventions, especially southern Yemen, under the control of UAE.

Unknown paid fighters on Tuesday attacked several plastic artists in Yemen’s southern province of Aden, according to eye witnesses.The artists were threatened with killing while carrying out the wall paintings to aware young people from dangers of drugs.

Drugs have spread and expanded recently among young people in Aden city in the systematic process carried out by United Arab Emirates (UAE) forces to target the young men in all Yemeni southern provinces.

The Association of Mothers of Abductees in the same city on Monday said that the UAE-backed paid fighters in the administration of Bir Ahmed prison prevented prisoners’ relatives from visiting them for the second week in a row.“The mothers were deprived of their sons, whom have been hidden for years behind bars and after dozens of them appeared in the prison,” the association said in a statement.

The prison administration arbitrarily prevented the detainees’ mothers from visiting their sons on Sunday to reassure them, after they prevented and assaulted them last week, the association added.

A number of protesters on Monday morning closed the al-Briqa bridge line .According to the sources, protesters set fire to tires and put stones in the middle of the main line to prevent traffic from passing through.

The protests came after UAE-backed security forces released a number of young fishing workers who were arrested eight months ago, but not releasing one other young man who was also detained together with the released.

In Al-Boreeqah district, Aden province on Monday witnessed angry protests and cut off of roads on the backdrop of torturing a citizen to death. Media, loyal to the coalition, reported that angry protests in Al-Boreeqah district and the blocking of roads against the backdrop of the abduction of Majid Mohammed Ali by the paid fighters. The so-called security belt of the UAE forces tortured him to death and buried later without the knowledge of his family.

At least ten people have died of dengue fever and dozens have been infected since the recent outbreak of the disease in southern Yemen.

“In the past few weeks, Dengue fever virus caused the death of 10 people and the infection of dozens in Aden, which threatens a new wave of the disease,” a source in the epidemiological surveillance department of the health ministry in Aden told “Al-Araby Al-Jadeed ” newspaper on Sunday.The source noted that the deterioration of the environmental situation in Aden, which resulted from a rash of sewage in the streets and neighborhoods of the province, is a main cause of the spread of mosquitoes that transmit the disease.

Clashes erupted on Saturday between paid fighters backed by United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s forces in Yemen’s Aden.The clashes happened in Qat popular market in al-Mansoura district between several of armed bodyguards of two commanders loyal to the UAE.

Personal disputes between the paid fighters caused the clashes.

Aden city, which was occupied by UK but now under the control of UAE, and the rest of the southern cities witness an insecurity situation that increased the assassinations of Imams of mosques and security and military leaderships
The province of Aden also witnesses a security fiasco that escalated with killings, looting issues , in addition to others that never happened before.

The UAE took control of Aden under the pretext of confronting the so –called “Houthis” , part of the Yemeni army forces and supported the establishment and formation of armed elements  there.
