Blaming Iran for the Sufferings of Yemenis is Laughable

By: Master Saki
The new US leadership is resorting to all tricks and lies to demonize Iran. The new project for aerobobia has intensified since Pompeiro confirmed the post of foreign minister in late April. Seems to replace enmity against Iran compared to John Bolton, national security adviser to Trump.
Pompeo’s degree of hatred towards Iran has been completely developed during his speech at the Heritage Foundation on May 21 in Washington.
It is quite clear to the whole world that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates – close friends of the United States – have created a human tragedy in Yemen by stifling millions of people in the impoverished Arab country and starving them. Perhaps the easiest way to blame Iran for what Washington’s friends did.
How can Iran, even if it wants, help the Yemeni rebels at a time when the country is besieging the Saudi-led coalition? Attempts to link the misery of Yemenis and Iran can never hide the crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition.
In addition to efforts to demonize Iran, Pompeo may want to facilitate and justify the sale of more weapons to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Bombo’s president, Donald Trump, who has an eye on the vast wealth of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, should be happy about the war in Yemen because he wants to sell more and more “beautiful” weapons to these rich countries for the sake of creating jobs in the states. United Nations.
But Pompeo and other hawks in the United States can not fool public opinion about the realities of the war in Yemen. People around the world realize that it was Saudi Arabia that started the war against Yemen in March 2015, and that Saudi Arabia, along with coalition partners who mistakenly believe they should run Yemen to surrender.
If the United States were really concerned about the suffering of the Yemenis, it would have pressed Saudi Arabia to end the war. The irony is that the United States itself is a partner in this tragedy. It not only sells weapons to Saudi Arabia and its coalition partners, but also shares intelligence with them and recharges their fighter jets in the air.
Pompio also claimed that Iran’s support for the Houthis enabled Yemen to launch attacks on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This statement shows that the Saudi-led coalition, despite US support, has not only failed to defeat the Yemenis, but has made them more flexible and stronger.
History is a wonderful lesson. If the United States, along with NATO support, 17 years later succeeded in forcing the Taliban to kneel in Afghanistan, it would have been possible to imagine that the Saudi-led coalition might someday win Yemen. Now the United States is begging talks with the Taliban but the Taliban refuse.
People familiar with Yemeni society say people in this impoverished country are tougher than the Afghans who fought the Soviets in the 1980s, and eventually made the Soviets leave the country in disgrace.
In light of these facts, Bombo’s attempts to insult Iran with the humanitarian tragedy in Yemen are flawed, tragic and ridiculous.
