Saudi-Led Coalition Strikes a Yemeni Local Market, Leaves Civilians Killed or Injured
Three Yemeni civilians were killed while three others sustained wounds on Sunday in raids launched by the Saudi-led coalition targeting a popular market in Hajjah bordering province.
A total of six innocent civilians fell between dead or wounded, whereas three of them lost their lives and the rest are now suffering various types of wounds after Hayran’s district market was hit by several airstrikes, local source reported to YemenExtra.
The death toll has a high chance or rising as the rescue teams continue their efforts into looking and saving people from under the rubble regardless of the ongoing heavy hovering by the coalition warplanes.
In a similar context, six civilians were killed and five others got wounded, most of them women and children, in two Saudi air raids that struck a citizen’s house in the aforementioned district.
It is not the first time the US-backed coalition targets a house nor a popular market as it has been accused of committing countless war crimes against thousands of innocent Yemenis, the latest of which took place in the capital Sana’a and left more than 150 killed and wounded civilians amid an international silence.
