iologic Massacre after Military Invasion ,Saudi Arabia Is behind the Wide -Spreading Cholera in Yemen
The roots of widespread Cholera which afflicted more than half a million citizens in 4 months in Yemen must be sought in Saudi-led coalitions’ strikes and following blockade.
More than 10,000 civilians have been killed in Yemen since the start of Saudi’s launch. The death toll, which has been mostly caused by Saudi and US airstrikes, is still rising with more strikes in the country. The military massacre, however, is being surpassed by another sort of massacre across the country; biologic massacre.
Cholera started in Yemen in April after the health condition of the country deteriorated by the long and extensive assaults. Reports by multiple international human rights organizations indicate that the coalition targeted multiple hospitals and healthcare centers. Besides, the country has been besieged by the assailants with official closure of Sanaa report on August 9 last year. The country’s airspace is controlled by Saudi Arabia and its allies and no international help is permitted to get Yemen.
More than 10,000 Yemenis who lost their lives due to health service failure could have been saved had they been provided with medical services in time. Besides, the massive poverty due to the failure of economic system in Yemen put the people more at risk of starvation.
The suspicious spread of Cholera was reinforces by full blockade of the country. The fragile health system of Yemen was fully paralyzed after the sharply contagious Cholera devastated the country. Tousands of people referred to hospitals and clinics while the shortage of drugs let mostly down.
Having failed to oppress the country in order to get them surrendered after a two-year assault, Saudis changed their strategy by reinforcing the deterioration of health condition of Yemen. The coalition is committing a biologic massacre across Yemen with starvation, malnutrition, and absence of medical services.
