UAE-backed STC organizes protest against Islah militants in Sayoun

The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) is preparing to organize on Tuesday a protest against the presence of Islah Party militants in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

The STC leadership in Sayoun city called on the people of Hadramout valley districts to participate in the mass event to take escalatory steps against the “First Military Region” militants affiliated with Islah Party.

This comes after the so-called “Al-Habbah Al-Hadramiyah” demanded the expulsion of Hadi government’s interior minister, Ibrahim Haidan, for his interference in the recruitment file of the sons of Hadramout.
