Al-Houthi Condemns US-Saudi War Crime Against Citizens in Hajjah

Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammad Al-Houthi condemned the targeting of Ahmed Tamri family in the Abs district of Hajjah Governorate.

Al-Houthi stressed that continuing to target the Yemeni people is a war crime and deliberate terrorism.

The US-Saudi aggression targeted a house in the Abs district of Hajjah governorate late Sunday, killing at least a woman and wounding 10, including seven children, aged between one and a half and 14 years, women, as well as an elderly person.

Since the beginning of the latest escalation of the Saudi-US coalition, the aggression has launched daily night raids targeting residential neighborhoods in the capital, Sana’a, and Yemeni governorates, killing and wounding about 500 civilians.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.

The US-Saudi aggression continues to target neighborhoods and populated areas and destroy the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.

The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
