UN rejects coalition’s threats of bombing of civilian places in Yemen
United Nations Resident Representative for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen William David Grisley, affirmed on Tuesday the UN rejected bombing civil places and civilians in Yemen.
This came during a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Makbouli, in the capital, Sanaa.
Grisley stressed that he would work to convey the suffering of the Yemeni people to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as a result of the Saudi-led coalition’s siege and the continued detention of oil derivatives ships.
The meeting touched on aspects related to the repercussions of the coalition’s ban on the entry of oil derivatives and foodstuff ships through the port of Hodeida.
