Protesters in Germany Condemn UAE’s Crimes in Yemen

A protest was organized, in front of the UAE embassy in Berlin denouncing the US-Saudi-Emirati crimes in Yemen.

The protesters in front of the embassy chanted slogans condemning the shedding of Yemeni blood, and the continued targeting of residential neighborhoods, communication towers, and a detention center in Sa’adah.

The protesters also raised banners calling to stop the aggression and lift the siege, and they carried pictures that showed part of the suffering of the Yemeni people and the crimes of the aggression and its flagrant violations against Yemenis.

A statement issued by the protestors called on the international community to stop the aggression and end the siege imposed by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.

The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.

Despite heavily-armed Saudi Arabia’s incessant bombardment of the country, the Yemeni Armed Forces have grown steadily in strength against the US-Saudi invaders and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country.
