Head of National Delegation Meets Iranian Foreign Minister
The head of the National Delegation, Mohammad Abdulsalam, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in the Omani capital, Muscat. During the meeting, they discussed the military escalation against Yemen by US-Saudi Aggression, the humanitarian and political situation, regional, international affairs, and the state of the region.
The US-Saudi aggression has recently escalated its crimes against civilians in various governorates, in light of the internationalist silence, indifferent to the blood of Yemenis that the aggression permits.
Saudi Arabia, backed by the US and other key Western powers, launched its war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing Hadi’s government back to power and crushing Ansarullah.
Having failed to reach its professed goals, the war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
Despite heavily-armed Saudi Arabia’s continuous bombardment of the country, Yemeni Armed Forces and Popular Committees have grown steadily in strength against the Saudi invaders and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country
