PM participates in inauguration of 1st national conference for volunteer work

Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Sunday said that opening a national platform with specific goals to receive requests for volunteer work in various social specialties is an important factor for organizing this type of activities.

 

This came during his participation in the inauguration of the activities of the First National Conference for Voluntary Work under the slogan “In the spirit of faith and belonging, a volunteer in the service of our country,” organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in corporation with Sana’a University and civil society organizations.

 

Dr. bin Habtoor referred to the nation’s need, in light of the circumstances it is going through, for the efforts of all its citizens in various voluntary works through a sound mechanism that stimulates this type of activities.

 

He affirmed that the support of volunteers would give an added value to this work and would help distinguished activists in this important humanitarian and social field.

 

At the inauguration, the Prime Minister praised the responsibility and seriousness with which Sana’a deals with people and respects for their humanity and rights, as a translation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.

 

“Sana’a today presents the national model by receiving all the displaced and citizens from all parts of the greater Yemen, and proves that it is a humanitarian and social incubator that has no like in the world,” he said.

 

The Prime Minister expressed his thanks to all the parties that participated and cooperated in the preparation and organization of this event.
