Foreign Minister to Doctors without Borders: Must Provide Necessary Support to Displaced By US-Saudi Aggression

Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah discussed, during his meeting, Tuesday, with the head of the Dutch delegation for Doctors Without Borders, Elisabeth Begtlar, the health situation in Yemen.

They discussed the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in light of the suffering and the lack of equipment and capabilities as a result of the US-Saudi aggression and the siege. The Minister stressed the need to provide the necessary support for the displaced who left their areas of residence and lost their jobs during the past years as a result of the aggression.

He expressed the National Salvation Government’s appreciation for the efforts made by the organization in the various governorates.

The head of the Dutch delegation for Doctors Without Borders indicated that the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen is of interest to the organization and that it is seeking, according to its capabilities, to provide possible assistance.
