FYPH condemns coalition attack on drug stores in Sanaa
Federation of Yemeni Private Hospitals (FYPH) condemned Saudi-led coalition’s bombing of drug and medical supplies stores in Sa’awan area of Sha’oub directorate in the capital’s Sanaa last Thursday.
A statement issued by the Federation said that the bombing the drug stores and medical supplies comes at a time when the coalition continues to prevent the entry of basic life requirements of the Yemeni people, including medicines and medical supplies.
The statement stressed that the attack is contrary to international humanitarian norms and laws.
It called on the United Nations and the UN envoy to put more pressures on the coalition to prevent the recurrence of such attacks and lift the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
The statement also called on relief and humanitarian organizations to support the health sector and strengthen its role in providing medical services under the exceptional circumstances that Yemen is going through.
