Foreign Ministry: Killing of Citizens Traveling Through Saudi-UAE Occupied Areas Intended

The Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi commented on the killing of the young man traveling back from the US, Abdulmalik Al-Sanabani, in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

Al-Ezzi held US responsible for the killing of the young man, saying in a tweet “America killed him by blocking his arrival to a safe place. By closing Sana’a airport, the US is depriving 40 million Yemenis of safe travel. The international community killed him with shameful silence and abhorrent recognition of Hadi, Mohsen and their false legitimacy partners Al-Qaeda and ISIS.”

Al-Ezzi added that “this confirms the integrity and justice of our logic, and objectivity of our vision for peace, which requires opening airports and ports and ending the siege. We ask not to link the humanitarian issue to the aspects of the political or military conflict. Stopping the siege is a humanitarian necessity and a legal entitlement for the people. An atmosphere that supports the success of any negotiations.”

The militias of the occupation forces have established illegal detention centers in the camps’ headquarters of the occupation militias in the various southern governorates.

According to information obtained by the Media Center for the Southern Governorates, Aden Governorate is still the main headquarters of the Emirati secret prisons that are managed under cover by the Saudi occupation forces that took over the leadership of the occupation headquarters from the Emirati in early October 2019.

There are three secret prisons in Bir Ahmed, west of Aden, one of which is a group prison, the second is a solitary prison that has been established, and the third is a secret prison dedicated to the forcibly disappeared.

In addition to the support forces, the security belt, and the special forces camp in the city, individual and group prisons, and the transformation of the Intelligence, Political and National Security Prison in Aden into secret prisons belonging to the militias of the Southern Transitional Council affiliated to the Emirates, with the exception of the Central Prison in Aden, which is still subject to the Public Prosecution in Aden.

The southern Giants militia also owns its prisons, and it has been proven to be involved in committing torture crimes against citizens who were arrested without legal justification during the past months.
