Erdogan: Death toll in Kabul bombings rises to 170

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday that the death toll from Thursday’s terrorist explosions  near Kabul airport has risen to 170.

During his visit to the Bosnian and Herzegovina capital Sarajevo, Erdogan told the media that Turkey had evacuated all its teams and civilians from Afghanistan, while there were currently only a few technical staff in the country.

Erdogan said the withdrawal from countries by handing over terrorist organizations has serious consequences, Turkey’s Anatolia news agency reported.

On Friday, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Bosnia-Herzegovina’s capital Sarajevo, the first stop on his mini-tour of two Western Balkan countries that also includes Montenegro.
