Demonstrations Continue in Aden’s Bank in Protest of Salaries Cuts
Dozens of military and security personnel in occupied southern governorates demonstrated, for the third day in a row, in front of the gate of the Central Bank branch in Aden, which is controlled by pro-Riyadh government, to demand their late salaries, after eight months delay.
They are demanding the speedy payment of their salaries. They objected the worsening of their living conditions, the collapse of the currency and the deterioration of purchasing power.
The participants called for continuing the protests and warned of escalation in the event that the pro-Riyadh government did not respond to pay their salaries.
It is noteworthy that the last salary received by soldiers in the southern governorates under occupation was in December last year.
