93 migrants rescued at sea in Tunisia
A unit of the Tunisian Maritime Guard has rescued 93 illegal immigrants of different African nationalities, about 70 kilometers southeast of the Al-Ataya region, after their boat experienced difficulties at sea.
Migrants were identified, as four from Nigeria, two from Ghana, five from Egypt, three from Syria and 79 from Bangladesh.
They revealed that they were between the ages of 15 and 12, explaining that they had sailed off the coast of Zuwara, Libya, with the intention of surreptitiously crossing the maritime border towards Europe.
