Al-Houthi: decision to withdraw printed currency is a sign of failure of coalition countries
Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, member of the Supreme Political Council has commented on Monday on the decision of the outgoing Hadi puppet government to withdraw the printed currency of small mount from the markets of the occupied provinces, and replace them with others similar to the one that is in the free zones that have been banned.
“The decision to withdraw the small printed currency is a sign of failure of the Saudi-led coalition and mercenaries,” Mohammed al-Houthi said in a tweet.
“Pumping counterfeit currency is also a failed decision because it is an increase in inflation,” he added.
Al-Houthi said the pro-coalition government should have “addressed the imbalance in which the riyal continues to collapse against the US dollar instead of tampering with their decisions with the Yemeni economy in the occupied provinces.
