Human Rights Acting Minister meets IOM representative
Acting Minister of Human Rights and Chairman of the National Commission against Human Trafficking Ali Al-Dailami met on Tuesday with the representative of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Dina Parmer, Senior Protection Program Coordinator.
The meeting discussed joint cooperation to serve the file of human trafficking and victims of this type of crime, especially women and children.
Al-Dailami expressed the ministry’s deep displeasure with the UN Secretary-General’s report, explaining that the damage to the report extended to the protection file on combating human trafficking.
Dealing with humanitarian files for political purposes had a significant and serious impact on the most vulnerable, namely children and women.
