Tawoos meets with WFP representatives for Middle East, Yemen

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, met here on Tuesday with the World Food Program (WFP)’s representative for Middle East and North Africa Corinne Fleischer, and the program representative in Yemen, Laurent Bukera.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the council and the program in the humanitarian field.

The meeting touched on the mechanisms of providing aid in accordance with humanitarian work standards that meet the needs of the beneficiaries in light of the continuation of the aggression and siege on Yemen.
