SCMCHA, VHI discuss enhancing projects in humanitarian field
Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) Abdul Mohsen Tawoos has discussed with a representative of the Vision Hope International (VHI) of Germany Mohammed al-Bayhani enhancing projects in the humanitarian field.
Tawoos and al-Bayhani reviewed, in a meeting held on Sunday, the VHI’s projects and the problems it faces in the field so as to find appropriate ways to continue work and provide services to beneficiaries in coordination with the SCMCHA.
Tawoos noted the need to focus on priority projects that would serve citizens and alleviate their suffering, including agricultural projects, water sources, and other sustainable projects.
He pointed to the importance of raising the level of work and expanding humanitarian projects and contributing to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
For his part, al-Bayhani praised the SCMCHA’s efforts to overcome difficulties, facilitate the work of humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen and raise the quality of services in the field of humanitarian work.
