HR Ministry discusses ways to assist displaced with Danish Refugee Council

The Acting Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, on Sunday met the Director of the Migration Organization at the Danish Refugee Council.
The Acting Minister of Human Rights stressed during the meeting the importance of strengthening cooperation and partnership for the benefit of refugees, displaced persons and those affected by the aggression.

Al-Dailami pointed out that human rights in Yemen have been violated by the aggression coalition for six years.

For her part, the Director of Immigration at the Danish Council reviewed the projects implemented by the Danish Council for Refugee Aid in Saada, Dhamar and Amanat Al Asimah, confirming the Council’s keenness to support the Ministry to implement its plans.

The officials discussed aspects of joint cooperation, especially in the field of building the Ministry’s capacity in dealing with immigrants and immigration issues, and the difficulties facing the Ministry and the Council in implementing humanitarian programs to help displaced and refugees, and ways to address them in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the concerned authorities.
