US-Saudi Aggression Deepens Human Suffering in Besieged City of Ad-Durayhimi

The worst humanitarian suffering in the world has been witnessed in the besieged city of Ad-Durayhimi for two years, as the coalition warplanes bomb the city and kill its citizens continuously, and the coalition’s mercenaries target unarmed civilians inside the city every day, in full view of the United Nations team in Hodeidah governorate.

The coalition prevents the opening of humanitarian corridors, allowing the entry of goods, medicine and foodstuffs and the transportation of citizens, despite that the agreement was signed nearly a year ago during the joint meeting of the Redeployment Committee. The caoalition continues its siege on the city and the people of the city started to eat trees with an unprecedented spread of diseases and epidemics that kill citizens inside the city.

In a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of Stockholm, the coalition and its mercenaries did not only starve the people of ad-Durayhimi by preventing the entry of food and medicine, rather, they deliberately killed the people of the besieged city. Since the beginning of this month, the mercenaries have intensified their bombing of homes, killing a number of citizens, including children and women, and burning many homes, in conjunction with several creeps toward the city.

The recent escalation in Al-Hodeidah governorate confirms the intention of the coalition and its mercenaries to destroy the Stockholm agreement and return war to the governorate without caring about the lives of citizens inside the governorate.
