ICRC’s support for Sa’ada province discussed

Sa’ada governor Mohammed Jaber Awad has discussed with the head of the sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Alex Simon the possibility of the committee’s support for water projects in the province.

The governor stressed the province’s need for support in the field of water, indicating the direct damage to the province’s infrastructure due to the systematic targeting of the aggression warplanes.

Awad expressed his hope that the mission would play an active role in completing the implementation of the projects that the committee promised to support, expressing his willingness to facilitate its humanitarian tasks in the province.

For his part, the head of mission expressed his satisfaction with the existing cooperation between the province and the committee, indicating that there is a tendency for the committee to implement sustainable projects in the province.
