Human Rights Condemns US-Saudi Crime, Targeting Populated Areas in Taiz
The Human Rights Office in Taiz governorate condemned a crime committed by the US-Saudi aggression, targeting neighborhoods and populated areas with artillery shells, last Wednesday morning, killing of two citizens, wounding two others, and damaging citizens’ property.
In the statement, Human Rights Office considered that this targeting crime is a violation of international and humanitarian norms, and laws, and a war crime that exposes the perpetrators to criminal accountability as war criminals.
The Human Rights Office called on international and local organizations to assume its humanitarian responsibility, monitor violations and crimes of the coalition of aggression. They should pressure the aggression to stop these crimes and avoid targeting populated areas.
