Agricultural Sector Condemns US-Saudi Aggression’s Detaining of Oil Ships

The agricultural sector organized a mass protest, in front of the United Nations building in Sana’a, Tuesday, to denounce the US-Saudi aggression’s continued detention of oil derivative ships.

In the protest, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, confirmed that the agricultural sector, with all its components and throughout the governorates of the Republic, was subjected to bombing and destruction with several weapons, which resulted a catastrophic situation.

“Today, we stand before the United Nations to call on them to immediately intervene to save the agricultural sector,” al-Rubai said.

He pointed out that the effects of these weapons will remain for decades on the land, plants and the surrounding environment as a result of toxic chemical emissions from lethal weapons that are internationally prohibited.
