Angry protest rally erupts in Hadramout
Angry protest rally erupted on Tuesday against the deterioration of the electricity service in Hadramout province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The demonstrators cut off the main streets of al-Dees area in al-Mukala city and burned cars’ wheels, blocking traffic in those streets.
The angry protests of the citizens come after the Electricity Corporation announced the new operating program for two hours, in exchange for four hours of shutdown.
The Corporation attributed its deficit in obstetric capacity to five of the generators completely out of service, and some others exceeded the maintenance period.
Hadramout province witnesses an increase in temperature and humidity, and the spread of diseases and fevers in the city.
