Prime Minister Calls on UN to Take Firm Stand on Recent Escalation by Saudi-led Aggression

Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Habtoor, called on the United Nations to take a firm stand on the escalation by the Saudi-led aggression targeting the economic and all frontlines. He met with the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Lise Grande, in Sana’a. During  pointed out that the Saudi-Emirati aggression continued to detain oil derivatives and basic supplies ships, despite obtaining permits to reach the port of Hodeidah.

 

They discussed the suffocating crisis that the local market is witnessing in oil derivatives and its direct impact on the public health, water and hygiene sectors. The importance of the international movement to exert pressure on the US-Saudi aggression to release detained ships and stop tampering with the basic needs of the Yemeni people that fall within the policy of collective punishment; criminalized by international laws and covenants.
