Shura Council Condemns US-Saudi Crimes, in Hajjah
The Shura Council condemned horrific massacres committed by the US-Saudi aggression for the sixth year in a row, the latest of which was the bombing of a citizen’s house in Washha in Hajjah Governorate, killing a number of children and women.
In a statement, the Council considered the aggression led by the Saudi regime for killing of Yemeni people. “It only eflects its bankruptcy, brutality, and deprivation of all values. It is a precedent that is considered a stigma in the brow of humanity and contempt for all international conventions,” the statement read.
The Shura Council held the United Nations, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and the international community responsible for their shameful silence and their tolerance of Saudi targeting of civilians. “This silence is an encouragement for daily war crimes and a cover for the continued aggression to continue killing the Yemeni people, destroying their capabilities and all the necessities of life,” the statement concluded.
