Entisaf Organization condemns continuation of aggression targeting women, children in Saada
Entisaf Organization for Women and Child Rights condemned the continuation of the crimes of the US-Saudi aggression coalition, pointing to the new crime of the aggression coalition that took place on Friday in Saada province and resulted in the injury of 3 children and an elderly woman by Saudi artillery and missile attacks on populated villages in the border district of Shada.
The organization considered in a statement this crime is a serious violation of international humanitarian law that criminalizes targeting innocent civilians in any way.
The statement added that, “These crimes amount to war crimes and against humanity and an extension of the chain of war crimes and genocide committed by the US-Saudi aggression coalition for the sixth consecutive year in Yemen.
The organization held Saudi Arabia and its coalition responsible for all crimes targeting civilians, demanding criminal investigation and accountability for coalition leaders and all those found to be involved in these crimes.
The organization also blamed the United Nations and the Security Council for its disgraceful silence and its derogation from its duties, which encouraged the Saudi coalition to continue committing more war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
The organization appealed to the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations and all the honorable and free people of the world to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibilities in championing the oppressed Yemeni people and condemn the horrific crimes committed by the US-Saudi coalition and pressure on the United Nations and specifically the Security Council to carry out their legal and moral duty to protect civilians and stop the war and all forms of aggression.
