Water ministry condemns dropping boxes by coalition’s warplane
The Ministry of Water and Environment, represented by the Environmental Protection Authority, condemned dropping boxes containing masks and other materials by coalition’s warplanes in Capital Sanaa and a number of ptovinces.
In a statement, the Authority said that the aggression flight landed this afternoon boxes containing masks and other materials in Mahwit, in the area between the districts of Bani Saad, Mahwit, and Rajom near the water sources that these districts benefit from, what causes pollution of water sources in light of the spread of the Corona virus in the world.
The statement called on international and environmental organizations, the United Nations and the Security Council to carry out their duty towards the practices and actions of the aggression coalition that threaten security, peace, environment and public health in Yemen.
The statement also called on citizens to take care and be careful not to touch any materials that are dropped by the aggression warplanes, in order to preserve their safety and inform the competent authorities about them.
The statement stressed the necessity of concerted efforts by all to preserve the health and the environment from any pollution and adherence to the directives, decisions and measures issued by the Higher Ministerial Committee for Epidemics and the Council of Ministers and the competent authorities to confront the Corona virus.
