No suspected or infected case of coronavirus in Yemen: Health Ministry

The Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population on Tuesday night said that it has not registered any suspected case or confirmed case of coronavirus in Yemen so far.

Dr. Abdulhakim al-Kohlani, a spokesman for the joint technical committee to confront Corona virus, explained that what was reported by social media websites about the presence of an infected person coming from South Korea is incorrect.

“A full epidemiological investigation has been carried out on this person, and it has been found that he does not meet the WHO-approved standard definition of the Corona suspicion case,” Dr. al-Kohlani said.

He assured the citizens and residents of the Republic of Yemen that the Ministry of Health deals with this matter professionally and transparently.
