Humanitarian Crisis Continue to Worsen in Yemen

The situation in Yemen is considered the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, with children suffering from acute malnutrition, people seeking food, and destroyed buildings in the streets of Hodeidah and Saada.
More than 1.8 million children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years, according to WFP, became victims of malnutrition, with temporary hospitals such as those filmed in Saada to help these children and their families, according to the news agency.
At least 3 million Yemenis are internally displaced persons, and people are trying to find shelter in other parts of the country, although it does not seem to comfort those who have been able to move.
The Yemeni port of Hodeidah is the country’s main entry point for food aid. With 8.4 million Yemenis forced to the brink of starvation by the United Nations, the country is plunged into a severe humanitarian crisis.
People were lined up at the humanitarian distribution site in Hodeidah, waiting for food and health kits.
The Saudi-led war in Yemen began in 2015 as an attempt to crush the Houthi Ansar Allah movement in the region and re-establish the former fugitive President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi. The conflict has created a dire humanitarian situation in the country.
