MSF treats 1.2 million patients in Yemen during 4 years of war

The Doctors Without Borders (MSF) organization said on Friday that it has treated more than 1.2 million patients in Yemen since the war began in early 2015.
“From March 2015 until September 2019, one million and 213 thousand patients were received in emergency rooms at health facilities run and supported by MSF in 12 Yemeni provinces,” the MSF mission in Yemen said in a tweet on its account on Twitter.
The organization indicated that it had treated more than 160,000 people wounded in violence.
MSF teams work in Yemen in 12 hospitals and support more than 20 health facilities in 11 provinces, namely Abyan, Aden, Amran, Hajjah, Hodeidah, Ibb, Lahj, Saada, Sanaa, Shabwa and Taiz.
